About Me

I'm Axel "Cibot09" Zender, a 30 years old french 3D Environment Artist. This is my website to show everything I do, love, want to share and explain like 3D games, 3D props and Environment, Materials/Textures, drawing or even my music from wip to finish projects. I love and try to create art with a mood, an ambience and atmosphere, something you can feel, something to catch your eyes while playing a game. I've always felt in love with beautiful environment in video games since my childhood.

I play video games since I was 5 or 6 and I guess it helped me being passionate about them. Unreal Tournament has been a huge part of it. The gameplay was fast and intense but if you took time to look at what the Level artists made, you were "rewarded" by something beautiful to see and to transport you to another world, all of it matching with the frenetic but atmospheric musics. This game shaped most part of who I am today and what I create.

I'm a really curious and passionate person and really love learning and trying new things thanks to my different obsessions. I made some games for gamejams, I create custom maps for Unreal Tournament 1999 and I also have 2 music projects.
